Raem Pharma Großhandel GmbH is a specialist wholesaler of veterinary products and pharmaceutical supplies. From our location on the left bank of the Lower Rhine, we supply registered veterinarians with authorised pharmacies and wholesalers with the appropriate licences throughout Europe – quickly, safely and reliably.

With over 30 years of industry experience, international contacts and close cooperation with leading European manufacturers, we are a strong partner for veterinarians. We have all the necessary official permits for the wholesale of veterinary medicines and medicinal products intended for use in animals, including authorisations in accordance with Article 99 of Regulation (EU) 2019/6 and Section 52a of the German Medicines Act (AMG). In addition, we hold several GDP certificates confirming that our working methods comply with the law.

Our aim is to provide veterinarians with a reliable supply of high-quality medicines and pharmaceutical products. Safety, legal certainty and transparency are at the heart of what we do.

We work strictly in accordance with European and national legislation, in particular Regulation (EU) 2019/6 on veterinary medicinal products, the Veterinary Medicinal Products Act (TAMG) and the Medicinal Products Trade Regulation. Our advisory service is consistently based on pharmaceutical law. If preparations are not available, we suggest suitable alternatives in accordance with the cascade regulation.

The central basis of our work is a comprehensive quality assurance system (QSS) that covers all quality-related areas. Among other things, it includes:

- Quality risk management (QRM), which systematically assesses, controls and reduces risks to drug quality.
- regular self-inspections to monitor and optimise all processes,
- continuous change management to adapt to new legal requirements,
- and an annual management review to check the efficiency of the system.

All processes are implemented by trained employees in accordance with defined service instructions, fully documented and regularly evaluated. In this way, we ensure the quality, efficacy and safety of all medicinal products – for the protection of animals and consumers.

Why we deliberately do not have a web shop

Unlike many other providers, we do not rely on an anonymous online web shop. Personal customer service is particularly important to us. This allows us to check the availability of a medication for you directly, point out possible alternatives, and respond to your questions individually.

We are of course also there for you in an emergency – at no additional cost. This is in line with our company philosophy: the customer is our focus. We attach great importance to personal advice, trust, and a close relationship with our customers.

The requirements for drug safety are constantly increasing – not least due to the provisions of the GDP (Good Distribution Practice) guidelines. This development also affects veterinary practices, which are increasingly having to deal with issues relating to quality assurance and documentation.

Raem Pharma supports veterinarians with tailor-made services for their quality assurance system (QA system). Our goal is to facilitate compliance with legal requirements, design efficient processes and ensure long-term safety in the handling of medicines.

Temperature monitoring in veterinary medicine cabinets

A particular focus is on temperature monitoring in veterinary medicine cabinets. We offer support in selecting suitable measuring devices, temperature mapping of premises and creating individual forms for documentation for the authorities. In this way, we ensure that the high requirements for storage and traceability are met at all times.

Training and service instructions

In addition, we take care of the introduction and training of employees in this area, so that a uniform understanding and safe application in everyday practice are guaranteed. We can also create service instructions (known as SOPs) – practical, legally compliant and individually tailored.
